The vessel's waste management plan was found lacking as it failed to adequately document the specific storage locations and capacities for various waste categories. In response, the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency has mandated a security deposit from the vessel's master. Additionally, the local water police in Emden have initiated a procedure to address this administrative violation. Following the inspection, the 'Olympic Taurus' was released and continued its journey, departing on February 4 around noon. The vessel reached Moerdijk, docking by noon on February 5.
