This incident comes on the heels of a previous detention on December 29, 2025, in Constanta, where the vessel faced even more scrutiny with 25 deficiencies over an eight-day period.

After addressing these numerous issues, the 'Omaya' was released on January 5, 2026, allowing it to continue its voyage.
