Diana Shipping Secures Time Charter Deal for m/v Nirefs with Hudson Shipping Lines
In a significant move for its fleet, Diana Shipping Inc. has announced the signing of a time charter agreement for its Panamax bulk carrier, m/v Nirefs, with Hudson Shipping Lines Incorporated. The terms of the charter include a gross daily rate of $10,750, with a 3.75% commission payable to third parties. This contract is set for a minimum period of eleven months, extending up to a maximum of fourteen months, having officially commenced on August 11, 2018. Prior to this charter, the m/v Nirefs was under contract with Jaldhi Overseas Pte. Ltd. Singapore, for a daily rate of $9,400, which included a 5% commission for third-party services.
