(commonly known as "K" Line) proudly announced the naming of its latest liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier, PACIFIC BREEZE, during a ceremony held at the Sakaide Shipyard of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. (KHI). The ship received its name from Mr. Jeng-Zen Fang, Vice President of CPC Corporation, Taiwan (CPC). The PACIFIC BREEZE stands out as the largest Moss-type LNG carrier to date, revolutionizing the industry with its innovative design by KHI. It is notable for being the inaugural Moss-type ship equipped with the cutting-edge Tri-Fuel Diesel (TFD) Propulsion System, a significant advancement that ensures reduced fuel consumption while adhering to environmentally responsible practices. Once delivered, the PACIFIC BREEZE will be time-chartered to IT Marine Transport Pte. Ltd., a collaborative effort between INPEX Corporation and TOTAL S.A.
