Ferry Panstar Dream Experiences Engine Trouble, Towed Back to Busan
On August 11 at approximately 1455 LT, the Ferry Panstar Dream encountered a critical engine malfunction due to a coolant system failure. At the time, the ferry was navigating 4.5 nautical miles east of Busan with 206 passengers on board, having recently departed for Osaka. In response to the emergency, two tugboats were dispatched to assist the distressed vessel, successfully towing the Panstar Dream back to Busan without incident.
