Beginning April 29, 2014, the Poseidon-Express will officially start its operations on the Novorossiysk-Feodosia ferry route, according to an announcement from the press center of the administrative department of the RF Transport Ministry, reported by IAA PortNews. This vessel is specifically designed for transporting cargo vehicles and has the capacity to accommodate up to 120 heavy trucks. Additionally, in a bid to enhance ferry connectivity to Crimea, up to five ferries—including passenger, railway, and combined automobile and passenger ferries—are set to be chartered by May 15.
