Concurrently, the crew of the Nedland pumped water from its ballast tanks to improve stability as the situation started to stabilize. After successfully retrieving the anchor, the vessel was able to slide off the shoal. By midday, the Nedland was anchored once again, awaiting representatives from the Transport Agency for a thorough damage inspection, while divers were also slated to examine the hull for any potential issues.
