In a swift legal resolution, the Orissa High Court has ordered the immediate release of the bulk carrier 'Propel Fortune', which was detained at Paradip Port on December 30, 2024. The vessel, which arrived at the port on December 28, 2024, faced arrest due to outstanding dues related to the provision of necessary supplies. After a brief legal battle, the court granted the release upon the vessel's agreement to submit a demand draft of ₹15,56,100/- payable to the Registrar (Judicial) of the Court.
