The cargo vessel 'Pudozh' experienced a technical malfunction while navigating the Istanbul Strait on March 26, 2022. On August 29, the owners of the tugboat 'Pudozh' dispatched a new batch of spare parts to facilitate ongoing repairs at Tuzla shipyard. This vessel has been undergoing significant maintenance work following an engine failure that occurred in Izmail back in October 2018. Subsequently, on April 6, the tug 'Horoz' was engaged to tow the 'Pudozh' to Tuzla for its necessary repairs. Following the completion of the repair work, sea trials are scheduled to be conducted with the oversight of a class surveyor. As of May 24, repair activities were resumed by specialized shore-based technical teams, with partial completion of steel replacement in the ballast tanks and cargo holds. Authorized service engineers are currently involved in the overhaul of both the main and auxiliary engines, ensuring that the 'Pudozh' returns to optimal operational condition.

The owners of the vessel 'Pudozh' have recently supplied a new batch of spare parts sourced directly from the manufacturer. Ongoing repairs are being executed in accordance with the recommendations provided by the class surveyor. As of June 8, the vessel continues to remain docked at the Tuzla shipyard, where the crucial work is being carried out.
