The tugboats 'Thor' and 'Poseidon' were mobilized for the arduous operation, which faced delays due to challenging weather conditions, including heavy swells and strong winds. Prioritizing safety and environmental protection, the salvage was conducted with utmost care, ensuring that neither the vessel nor the surrounding ecosystem suffered any damage. Following the successful refloating, the barge was towed to Riga, where it was returned to its owners.
