Working Conditions Aboard the Rb-Lisa

A maritime incident unfolded on the Yangtze River near Shanghai on August 1, 2021, when the bulk carrier 'Bulk Shenzhen' (IMO: 9849746) collided with the container ship 'RB Lisa'. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. as the 'RB Lisa' was departing from its berth at Chongming Island, headed for Singapore. During its unmooring, the vessel accidentally struck the incoming 'Bulk Shenzhen', which was transporting a significant load of 103,655 tons of iron ore. The collision resulted in hull damage to both vessels. Following the mishap, both ships were anchored in proximity to the collision site, with the 'Bulk Shenzhen' located at coordinates 31° 32.03' N 121° 23.24' E and the 'RB Lisa' at 31° 31.61' N 121° 23.31' E. As of August 2, both vessels remained stationary at the scene.

A new charter arrangement has been successfully established for the vessel Ennore, with immediate availability. The shipping terms include a rate of $13,950 per day, set for a minimum duration of 11 months, extending up to a maximum of 13 months. This contract has been finalized with ADMI, marking a significant development in Ennore's operational commitments.
