On Wednesday, Kleven Verft, located in Norway, proudly announced the delivery of the MV Rem Eir, a groundbreaking LNG-powered platform supply vessel (PSV), commissioned by Remøy Shipping. Measuring an impressive 92.5 meters in length with a substantial deck area of 1,080 m², the Rem Eir is recognized as the largest LNG-powered PSV globally, as confirmed by Kleven. This state-of-the-art vessel features the advanced Wärtsilä Ship Design VS4412 DF PSV architecture, ensuring high efficiency and environmental sustainability. The Rem Eir has been secured under a long-term charter with Statoil, where it will serve in operations on the Norwegian continental shelf.
