The incident occurred at Fleina, located in the Gildeskål municipality. The quick-thinking crew of the 'Ro North' promptly deployed the man-overboard (MOB) boat, arriving at the scene rapidly. Thanks to their swift actions, the stranded fishing vessel's crew was successfully retrieved within just 15 minutes, ensuring their safety in a potentially dangerous situation.

On the morning of August 9, 2018, at 7:30 a.m., a fishing vessel found itself in distress after running aground in the picturesque Husværfjord, located in Herøy. The timely arrival of the fish carrier 'Ro North' proved vital as it swiftly responded to the emergency, deploying its Man Overboard (MOB) system to rescue the two fishermen stranded aboard. Remarkably, the crew was brought to safety just 15 minutes after the mayday alert was initiated. Although a rescue helicopter from Ørlandet was placed on standby, it was ultimately deemed unnecessary and stood down as the situation was effectively managed.
