On December 3, 2012, at 1:38 PM, the fishing community in Oksfjord was alerted to a distress situation involving a fishing boat taking on water. The Rescue Coordination Centre based in Bodø sprang into action, coordinating an immediate response with the well boat 'Rohav' and the lifeboat 'Ulabrand'. Upon their arrival at the scene, the crew of two onboard the fishing vessel was successfully rescued by the Ulabrand. Despite the Rohav's efforts to salvage the boat, they discovered it submerged, with only its bow visible above the water. The two vessels worked together to tow the sunken fishing boat to a safer area with a depth of 6-7 meters, ensuring the safety of the crew and equipment involved.
