The 2015-built superman, Santa Barbara, is now under contract with Cargill International for a duration of 12 to 15 months, earning a daily rate of $12,000. On the other hand, the 2005-built Salt Lake City has been chartered to Uniper Global Commodities, Germany, for a period of 12 to 16 months, generating a daily income of $9,000. This agreement is set to commence on January 20, 2024. Diana Shipping estimates that these contracts will yield approximately $7.38 million based on the minimum duration specified in the charters.
