On August 22, 2025, the vessel named "Sara" faced detention while docked in Gemlik due to seven identified deficiencies. Among these, five were classified as serious enough to warrant the vessel's detention. The major issues included severe fire safety concerns, such as unsafe fire doors and inoperative fire detection and alarm systems, highlighting critical lapses in onboard safety protocols.
