On October 28, 2020, the Port Authority of Neapoli Vion received an urgent distress call regarding a 57-year-old crew member aboard the 'Sea Moon'. The vessel, which was traveling from Nkolayev with a scheduled arrival in Malta on October 29, required immediate medical assistance for its ailing crew member. In response, a patrol boat was promptly placed on standby to facilitate the medical evacuation. The 'Machi' was dispatched to conduct the medevac operation, successfully retrieving the crew member in Vatika Bay and safely delivering him to the port of Neapolis Vion. Once ashore, an ambulance awaited, which subsequently transported the patient to the Neapoli Vion Health Center before transferring him to the General Hospital of Molaon for further medical evaluation.

On May 17, 2018, at approximately 9:45 a.m., a conveyor loader experienced a catastrophic failure, leading to its collapse into cargo hold No. 2 of the 'Sea Moon' while the vessel was in the process of loading bulk fertilizers at Ashdod port, terminal 12. Fortunately, the portside coaming of the cargo hold only incurred minor damage. However, the presence of the loader inside the hold prevented the vessel from setting sail. To address the situation, a floating crane was deployed on May 18 to safely extricate the loader and restore normal operations.
