The company revealed that, through a wholly-owned subsidiary, it has successfully entered into a time charter agreement with Koch Shipping Pte. Ltd. based in Singapore for its Capesize bulk carrier, the m/v Seattle. The charter is set at a gross rate of US$11,700 per day, with a 5% commission allocated for third-party services, and is scheduled to run for a minimum of fourteen months, potentially extending to seventeen months. The commencement date for this charter is on February 6, 2017. Notably, the m/v Seattle is a robust Capesize vessel, boasting a deadweight tonnage of 179,362 and having been constructed in the year 2011. This charter agreement is projected to yield approximately US$4.91 million in gross revenue during the minimum duration of the contract, as stated in the company's official press release.
