Responding swiftly, the CCS Cartagena dispatched the search and rescue boat 'Salvamar Draco' to the scene, where they successfully retrieved 15 migrants. Further efforts led to a Frontex aircraft spotting another vessel approximately 46 miles away, enabling 'Salvamar Draco' to rescue an additional 15 individuals. Altogether, the operation saw 30 migrants safely transported to Cartagena for the necessary assistance.
