Offshore Wind Services Expands Fleet with Acquisition of Offshore Beaver
Offshore Wind Services (OWS) proudly announces the addition of the multipurpose diving support vessel, Offshore Beaver, which was previously named Union Beaver. Before joining OWS, the Offshore Beaver played a vital role in supporting various projects in the North Sea under the Boskalis banner. This robust vessel boasts an impressive accommodation capacity for 32 personnel and is equipped with a 25-ton crane, salvage winches, and a sophisticated 4-point mooring system. These features enable her to create her own anchor patterns, offer effective oil spill response capabilities, serve as a mother ship for operations with daughter crafts, and provide reliable craning services in offshore environments. After undergoing a thorough 10-day dry docking process that included painting, Offshore Beaver is set to commence her inaugural mission as a diving support vessel at a Windfarm in German waters, starting June 6.
