Multraship Unveils Two New Damen ASD 3212 Tugs in Terneuzen
On June 24, 2023, Multraship, a leading specialist in towage and salvage operations, celebrated the naming of its latest additions—a pair of Damen ASD 3212 tugs—at a ceremony held in Terneuzen, the Netherlands. The new vessels, named Multratug 29 and Multratug 30, are crafted at Damen Song Cam Shipyard in Vietnam and join their sister vessel, the Multratug 19, in Multraship's operational fleet. Designed with a powerful bollard pull of 82 tonnes, these 32-meter tugs are distinguished by their exceptional sea-keeping capabilities, outstanding manoeuvrability, and remarkable towing performance. The ceremonial naming was honored by Mrs. Rita de Ruijter-Ribbens, who named the Multratug 29, and Mrs. Els Otten-Muller, who named the Multratug 30, marking a significant milestone for Multraship and its commitment to providing top-tier towage services.
