Siem Offshore Completes Acquisition, Sells 'Siddis Mariner'
In a strategic move, Siem Offshore has confirmed its agreement with O.H. Meling for the acquisition of the latter's 49% stake in Siem Meling Offshore DA (SMODA). This acquisition will elevate Siem Offshore’s ownership in SMODA to a full 100%. Notably, alongside this transaction, the vessel 'Siddis Mariner' will be transferred from SMODA to a company owned by O.H. Meling, with the effective date of delivery set for May 31, 2017. Following this sale, SMODA will retain ownership of the vessel 'Siem Pilot', which is set to embark on a four-year charter contract offshore Canada starting in July 2017.
