In a notable maritime incident on April 22, 2017, two ferries operated by Jadrolinija, the 'Sis' and the 'Juraj Dalmatinac,' were involved in an allision at Gaženica Port at approximately 7:30 p.m. During its departure from the port, the 'Sis' encountered an engine failure, causing it to drift towards the moored 'Juraj Dalmatinac.'
