The vessel known as 'Sarah,' with IMO number 9431642, has been moored at Montrose Harbour since September 30, 2011. On April 15, 2011, the 'Sarah' made the transition from the north quay to the south quay to facilitate the arrival of other maritime traffic. Unfortunately, the vessel has remained docked in Montrose while the future of its owner, Marine Subsea (UK), hangs in the balance. This Aberdeen-based subsidiary of the Norwegian oil and gas service provider Marine Subsea entered into liquidation in 2010, leading to the repossession of the 'Sarah' during the company's winding-down process. Following its repossession in late November, the financiers initiated efforts to find a buyer for the vessel, which, like numerous others in the industry, was severely impacted by the economic downturn.
