Working Conditions Aboard the Skandi-Flora

DOF Rederi has announced a significant contract award from Statoil Petroleum for two platform supply vessels (PSVs) operating in Norway. As disclosed in an Oslo Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday, the agreement encompasses a firm five-year term for both the Skandi Flora and Skandi Mongstad, along with options for an additional five one-year extensions. The contract for the Skandi Flora is set to commence in early September 2017, followed by the Skandi Mongstad in October 2017, ensuring a seamless transition from the current contracts. The Skandi Mongstad, built in 2008 and designed with the VS 495 DEM specification, has been engaged with Statoil Petroleum since its delivery, primarily transporting oilfield products to offshore drilling and production sites. Meanwhile, the 2009-built Skandi Flora, categorized as an Aker PSV 06 CD design PSV, has also been operating under long-term contracts, focusing mainly in the North Sea region. This contract marks a substantial milestone for DOF and underscores their continued partnership with Statoil in supporting offshore operations.

Norwegian offshore expert DOF has successfully landed its third contract in September 2023, revealing a new offshore assignment in Canada involving the Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) Skandi Flora. Set to commence in September, this contract spans a duration of one year, with additional options for extension. The identity of the client remains undisclosed, adding an element of intrigue to this latest deal.
