DOF Rederi, a prominent player in the maritime sector, has announced a significant contract win with Norwegian oil giant Statoil Petroleum. The agreement involves two platform supply vessels (PSVs), the Skandi Mongstad and Skandi Flora, located in Norwegian waters. The Skandi Mongstad, built in 2008, has been in service with Statoil since its delivery and features the efficient VS 495 DEM design, specifically tailored to deliver essential oilfield supplies to offshore drilling and production sites. Meanwhile, the Skandi Flora, which entered service in 2009, is designed based on the Aker PSV 06 CD model and has been deployed on long-term assignments predominantly in the North Sea region.
