On February 7, 2015, the cargo ship 'S. Kuznetsov' encountered a steering malfunction that led to its grounding while departing from the port of Arkhangelsk at precisely 3:51 p.m. Moscow time. Fortunately, rescue efforts were promptly initiated, and by 6:37 p.m., the vessel was successfully refloated with the assistance of the icebreaker 'Kapitan Evdokimov'. After its recovery, 'S. Kuznetsov' anchored safely in the Arkhangelsk roads. The following day, February 8, the vessel made its way back into the safety of Arkhangelsk's harbor, with a significant cargo of 6,400 tons of scrap metal still aboard.
