Sula's Grounding Incident in Horsens Fjord
On March 9, 2023, at 6:40 PM, the vessel Sula, originating from Rostock, experienced a drift in the Horsens Fjord and ran aground near Hobro, specifically at coordinates 056°42'36" N, 010°14'24" E. Fortunately, the ship was able to refloat itself as the tide rose, continuing its journey to port by 11 PM that same evening. Upon arrival, class surveyors conducted a thorough damage assessment. The inspection revealed only minor damage to the propeller, and after receiving clearance, Sula was permitted to sail onward. The vessel successfully docked at the port of Kaliningrad at 5:30 PM on March 12, 2023.
