On April 25, 2025, a medical emergency unfolded aboard the ferry 'Superfast I', prompting urgent action from the Corfu Port Authority. The vessel, which was situated two nautical miles north of Vidos Island while on its regular route from Patras to Igoumenitsa and Bari, reported that its Chief Financial Officer, a 62-year-old Greek national, needed immediate hospital care. Following the report, the ferry diverted to Corfu port, where the ailing crew member was safely disembarked. An ambulance was on standby to swiftly transport him to the General Hospital of Corfu for further medical evaluation and treatment. Once the situation was under control, 'Superfast I' resumed its scheduled journey without further delays.

On January 14, 2025, a somber event unfolded at the Port of Patras when the Master of the ferry 'Superfast I' reported that a 66-year-old German passenger collapsed during the vessel's loading process for its upcoming journey to Igoumenitsa and Bari. The incident took place as the vessel was in the process of docking at the port and involved the crew member injuring the gastrocnemius muscle in his right leg while descending a ladder.
