On December 5, 2023, MVC Canada successfully removed the wreckage of a motor yacht that collided with the ferry 'Svanoy' on July 2, 2023, near the quay at Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive. The unfortunate incident saw four individuals from Ontario aboard the yacht at that time, which ultimately plunged into the water. Among the passengers, a woman in her fifties sustained serious injuries and was promptly rushed to the hospital alongside a male companion. On the evening of October 27, 2022, at approximately 9:45 PM, the ferry 'Svanoy', which operates between Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive and L'Isle-aux-Coudres, encountered an incident while docking at the L'Isle-aux-Coudres wharf. On March 12, 2019, at 11:50 a.m., the ferry Svanøy experienced significant issues while traveling from Halsa to Kanestraum.
