Working Conditions Aboard the Tasco-Amarit

On August 3, 2019, at approximately 5:30 PM, the cargo vessel 'Tasco Amarit' was involved in an allision with the anchored tanker 'Hanyu Dream' in Ulsan anchorage. The collision resulted in noticeable damage to the 'Hanyu Dream', with indentations and a crushed area on its bow and port side hull. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or oil spills following the incident. The 'Hanyu Dream' departed from Ulsan anchorage on August 4 at 9:45 AM and made its way to Busan, arriving on August 5. Meanwhile, the 'Tasco Amarit' left Ulsan at 2:10 AM on August 5, heading to the SK tank terminal in Ulsan for loading operations. After undergoing necessary repairs, the 'Hanyu Dream' resumed its journey on August 14. The 'Tasco Amarit', after completing its delivery operations, set sail for Bangkok on August 13 to discharge its cargo and conduct permanent repairs.
