Tina C Rescued and Towed to Vigo After Engine Failure
On July 20, 2017, the cargo vessel "Tina C," laden with clay, encountered significant engine troubles while navigating from Plymouth to Gibraltar. The vessel was left adrift near Camariñas, prompting the deployment of the tugboat "Ría de Vigo" for assistance. The tug successfully towed the disabled ship to the port of Vigo, where it safely docked at 1 p.m. Following necessary repairs, the "Tina C" departed Vigo on July 22 at 6:40 p.m. and continued its journey towards Gibraltar, with an estimated arrival on July 25.
