The incident led to the ship being towed back to the port by the tugboat "TAK-5," successfully berthing again at 3:40 PM. Following repairs and a brief stay in port, the "Strami" departed once more from Liepaja on November 19 at 11:50 AM, setting course for Ellermere with an estimated arrival date of November 25. On March 10, 2010, at approximately 10:30 AM, the bulk carrier 'Strami' encountered an incident while docking at the Kiel power station. The vessel, which was transporting coal from Szczecin, collided with a crane on-site during the berthing process. The allision resulted in significant damage to the crane, necessitating its withdrawal from service pending an inspection by two qualified experts. As the extent of the damage is still being evaluated, the 'Strami' continues to remain at the Kiel port.
