On January 7, 2023, Troms Offshore Supply AS, a dedicated subsidiary of Tidewater Inc., proudly announced the delivery of its latest vessel, the MV Troms Mira. The ship was completed at the VARD Vung Tau shipyard located in Vietnam. MV Troms Mira, designed as a Clean Design diesel-electric Platform Supply Vessel (PSV), boasts an impressive deck area of 830 square meters. The vessel is powered by advanced engines and propulsion systems that incorporate state-of-the-art catalyst technologies, ensuring not only enhanced fuel efficiency but also significant reductions in air emissions. MV Troms Mira adheres to the VARD PSV 108 CD design standards, setting a new benchmark for environmentally friendly maritime operations. The newly delivered PSV will predominantly be deployed for missions in the North Sea and icy Arctic waters. Its operations will be managed by the experienced Troms team based in Norway.
