On August 3, 2019, at approximately 11:45 a.m., the cargo ship 'Ust-Ilinsk', arriving from Istanbul, experienced an allision with the training vessel 'UTS-519' near the Voroshilovskiy Bridge in the port of Rostov. The collision resulted in above-waterline damage to the training craft; however, the 'Ust-Ilinsk' was not reported to have sustained any damage. Following the incident, the freighter proceeded to dock at the port's container terminal without further complications.

The 'Aldwych', a vessel that experienced engine failure at Oktyabrsk back in July 2017, recently completed its repair journey. After arriving in Tuzla on January 30 for necessary repairs, the ship was able to leave the Istanbul Anchorage on April 29, following the arrival of critical spare parts earlier that month. The 'Aldwych' is now en route to Azov, with an estimated time of arrival set for May 4.

On January 30, 2018, at 5 p.m., the cargo vessel 'Aldwych' reached the Tuzla shipyard after a lengthy ordeal. This vessel had suffered an engine malfunction in July 2017 while anchored in Oktyabrsk, and attempts to carry out on-site repairs by the crew were unsuccessful. To facilitate its journey to safety, the tugboat 'Horoz' was designated to tow the 'Aldwych' to Tuzla, commencing operations on January 26 after completing all necessary towage formalities. During its passage through the Istanbul Strait, the vessel was escorted by a Coastal Safety tug, which ensured both the safety of the vessel and the smooth flow of maritime traffic in the busy Strait.
