Successful Medivac Operation by RNLI Humber Lifeboat
On the morning of November 5, 2011, at precisely 8:50 a.m., the RNLI Humber lifeboat sprang into action to assist an injured worker aboard the vessel 'Vagant'. The individual had experienced an electric shock, resulting in burns to his right hand. Although he was not in immediate danger, medical intervention was required for a thorough examination and treatment of his injuries. The day's weather was cooperative, featuring calm seas that facilitated the operation. The rig was strategically lowered to enable a smooth transfer of the injured man onto the lifeboat. Once aboard, he was promptly transported to an ambulance waiting at Grimsby for further medical care.
