This incident prompted the vessel to seek immediate aerial assistance while anchored in the southern bay of Las Palmas port. The Helimer 222 helicopter was dispatched to carry out the critical rescue operation. The injured crew member was safely hoisted and subsequently transported to Negín Hospital in Las Palmas for urgent medical attention.
