Working Conditions Aboard the Vestraatt

On January 23, the ferry 'Vestrått' faced significant technical issues, leading to the cancellation of multiple sailings. This disruption has impacted the regular connection between Brekstad and Valset, resulting in a reduced service frequency. Currently, the A-ferry is operating with hourly departures from Brekstad, beginning at 5:30 a.m. and continuing until the last ferry at 10:30 p.m. Meanwhile, sailings from Valset start at 6:00 a.m. and run hourly until the final departure at 11:00 p.m. As of now, the 'Vestrått' remains docked in Brekstad, awaiting repairs to resume its operations.

On January 17, 2020, at 11:35 AM, the ferry 'Vestratt' was forced to temporarily suspend its services on the Brekstad-Valset route following a technical malfunction. This disruption impacted passengers traveling along county road 710 between Orkanger and Valset. Fortunately, by shortly after 12:30 PM, the issue was addressed, and it was confirmed that the ferry would resume its normal operations starting at 1 PM.
