On March 30, 2017, in the picturesque Songvår Sound near Ytre Kjeøya, a timely intervention by the buoy tender 'Villa' saved a passenger vessel that had grounded on rocky shores. The vessel, which was listed to port, found itself in a precarious situation until the 'Villa' arrived. The buoy tender quickly established a towing connection and managed to pull the stranded passenger m/v free within just half an hour.
