This remarkable vessel, classified as a 60-meter Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel/Field Support Vessel (ERRV-FSV), is poised to provide essential support operations in the North Sea. Managed by Vroon Offshore Services Aberdeen, the VOS Glamour marks the first of four advanced FSVs being constructed at FSES for Vroon, signifying a significant investment in maritime safety and efficiency in offshore ventures.

This remarkable 60-meter field-support vessel (FSV) is the first in a promising series of four FSVs under construction at the shipyard for Vroon, each featuring a groundbreaking wave-piercing bow design. Over the upcoming months, Vroon anticipates the arrival of the remaining three vessels in the series. Notably, Vroon has placed a substantial order for a total of 22 offshore-support vessels from Fujian Southeast, scheduled for delivery from 2014 to 2016. The official christening ceremony for VOS Glamour took place last month at the shipyard, where Mrs. Renza Stanga, the aunt of Vroon’s Managing Director, Coco Vroon, had the honor of naming the vessel. Following its delivery, VOS Glamour is set to sail to the North Sea, where it will operate under the management of Vroon Offshore Services Aberdeen.
