On March 26, 2025, a significant medical evacuation operation took place in the Basilan Strait as the Philippine Coast Guard sprang into action following a distress call from the 'Voy Trust.' The request for assistance was registered by the National Maritime Center while the vessel was navigating near Zamboanga City. In response, the PCG District Southwestern Mindanao promptly dispatched the BRP 'Capones' to facilitate the removal of the injured crew member. Upon reaching the ship, the medical team provided essential first aid before safely transferring the crew member to a vehicle destined for the Brent Hospital in Zamboanga City. The injured party, a Chinese national, was later handed over to the ship’s local agent, Albert Abanilla, for additional support and care.

A new charter arrangement has been established for the Jinzhou spot, which will navigate through the East Coast of Australia before making its way to India for redelivery. The vessel is set to transport coal during this journey, securing a daily rate of $5,000 as agreed with Bostomar. This deal underscores the continued demand for coal transportation in emerging markets.
