Lloyd’s Register to Class Entire Fleet of Dampskibsselskabet NORDEN A/S

Dampskibsselskabet NORDEN A/S, headquartered in Copenhagen, has entered into a significant agreement with Lloyd's Register (LR) for the classification of 57 vessels, encompassing NORDEN's entire fleet. This strategic move will see 32 ships transferred to Lloyd's Register Class. Among these ships are nine new units that will officially join LR upon delivery. Additionally, four vessels are already classified by LR, and 16 externally managed ships are set to switch to LR as part of this comprehensive initiative. The transition of NORDEN’s fleet commenced with the product tanker NORD MERMAID becoming the first to enter LR class, marking a new chapter in NORDEN’s commitment to quality and safety in maritime operations.
