In the realm of pollution prevention, the ship was found lacking a proper Ballast Water Management Plan and an adequate Ballast Water Record Book, in addition to inoperative oil filtering equipment. Other deficiencies involved machinery conditions and inadequate ventilation in working spaces, while the International Safety Management (ISM) certificate was also deemed insufficient. Following rectifications, 'Well Prime' was released on August 25 and set sail for Constanta, arriving the following day on August 26. On November 17, 2015, a rescue operation was initiated by the Weymouth RNLI lifeboat to assist a crew member sustaining a chest injury aboard the vessel 'Scot Venture', which was anchored in the scenic Weymouth Bay. Although the situation was not classified as an emergency due to the non-life-threatening nature of the injury, authorities recognized the necessity for the individual to receive prompt medical care on land. With adverse weather conditions on the rise and the vessel equipped solely with an open RIB, the decision was made to deploy the all-weather lifeboat for the safe evacuation of the injured man. This decisive action ensured timely response and care for the patient.
