Humphreys’ expertise in this area is further exemplified by a previous achievement: last year, he and his students orchestrated the first-ever public capture of a GPS-guided unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a feat made possible through the use of a GPS device they designed. The ongoing research continues to underscore the necessity for enhanced security measures in navigation technologies to safeguard against malicious threats.
