On December 8, 2018, the cargo vessel 'Cerafina', carrying 1,354 tonnes of zinc, made a scheduled stop while sailing from Zandvliet to Avlies. The ship halted at coordinates 20°20'01" N, 000°50'33.2" W to replace one of its vital sensors. The maintenance work was successfully completed around 8:30 a.m., allowing the Cerafina to continue its journey towards its destination, with an estimated time of arrival set for December 10.
