In a tragic maritime incident early on March 12, 2019, the bulk carrier 'Vahty' struck the fishing vessel 'Zhe Daiyu 2611,' operated by Zhejing Fisheries, east of the Yangtze estuary in the Yellow Sea around 1 a.m. The collision resulted in the sinking of the 'Zhe Daiyu 2611,' which had 14 fishermen aboard at the time.
