On September 3rd, the Port Authority of Naxos received a report concerning an injured crew member aboard the Woldchapion Jet. The incident occurred while the ferry was traveling from Mykonos to Naxos. The 40-year-old local sailor sustained an injury to his left leg after a fall from a low height on one of the internal staircases of the vessel. Upon arrival at the port of Naxos, the injured crew member was promptly transported to the General Hospital-Health Center of Naxos for medical evaluation. In the meantime, the Port Authority of Naxos has initiated a preliminary investigation into the accident. Following the incident, the ferry continued its journey, heading toward the ports of Ios and Thira as stipulated under article 89 of the C.D.N.D.

On August 8, 2024, the Central Port Authority of Piraeus received reports of engine damage affecting the starboard turbine of the 'Worldchampion Jet.' This incident occurred as the ferry was entering the port of Piraeus while executing its regular route from Thira to Ios, Naxos, Mykonos, Syros, and Piraeus, carrying 990 passengers alongside 79 vehicles. Despite the mechanical issue, the ferry was able to navigate safely under its own power and successfully disembark all passengers and vehicles. However, the Central Port Authority of Piraeus has since prohibited the vessel from setting sail again until it presents a class maintenance certificate and a seaworthiness certificate from its overseeing classifier.

On June 12, 2024, a significant incident occurred at the Port of Naxos when the ferry 'Worldchampion Jet' faced a malfunction with its stern ramp while preparing to depart on its scheduled route from Piraeus to a series of popular islands including Syros, Mykonos, Naxos, Ios, and Thera. The vessel, carrying 538 passengers, was unable to raise its ramp, prompting the local Port Authority to swiftly prohibit the ferry from leaving the dock. After the ferry's operators submitted a maintenance certificate from the overseeing classification society, the authorities allowed the vessel to make a one-time trip without passengers back to Piraeus for necessary repairs. All passengers were safely transported to their respective destinations by the ferry company's arrangements.
