A remarkable shipment of four super-post-Panamax container cranes is poised to make its way to Tacoma, arriving via the picturesque Puget Sound on March 5. These state-of-the-art cranes, touted as some of the largest on the West Coast, are identical to those that were delivered to the Pacific Northwest last year. The heavy-lift vessel, Zhen Hua 31, which spans an impressive 771 feet, will have Puget Sound Pilots board on Tuesday morning in Port Angeles, marking the start of its journey to Tacoma.
