The arrest was executed under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Singapore, following a legal action initiated by Wong Partnership LLP. While the firm has refrained from providing specific details regarding the nature of the dispute, sources suggest that this type of legal maneuver is common in cases involving financial disagreements, particularly those related to unpaid bunker fuel. The M/V Xia Zhi Yuan 6, with a deadweight tonnage of 38,000 dwt, was constructed in 2012 by Zhejiang Peninsula Ship Industry Co. in China.

The Panama Canal's expansion project has achieved a pivotal milestone as the last shipment of gates for the new locks was delivered on Wednesday. "Today marks a momentous day for both Panama and the Canal," declared President Juan Carlos Varela during a ceremonial event celebrating the gate arrival. "We are now nearing the finish line of this expansion initiative." Panama Canal Administrator Jorge L.
