On August 10, CROSS Gris-Nez responded to an emergency involving a migrant boat near Leffrinckoucke. The vessel 'Ridens' executed the initial rescue of 59 individuals, while Minck contributed by rescuing one migrant from a separate vessel, highlighting the cooperative nature of maritime rescue operations along the coast. In total, 83 migrants were saved that day.

Just days later, on August 12, Minck continued its vital role when alerted about another boat departing from Malo-les-Bains. This time, Minck engaged in surveillance and discovered that the boat had suffered an engine failure, prompting the crew to assist. In a well-coordinated effort with 'Ridens', Minck successfully rescued 52 people, all of whom were safely disembarked at Calais. A total of 111 migrants were rescued in that operation alone, further underscoring the escalating urgency of the situation in the English Channel.

The responsibilities of Minck did not end there. On August 24, it participated in three rescue missions off the coast of Pas-de-Calais. Early in the morning, Minck responded to a distress signal from another migrant boat that experienced mechanical failure. The crew offered assistance, resulting in four individuals opting for rescue.
